I’ve seen quite a few places where you can see sea lions swim around and lay out on some rock outcroppings, but never seen them in a cave before! Apparently this is where they get it on aka. breeding. 🙂 It’s a fairly strenuous place to get to, but it looks worth it! This is in Oregon, USA.Â

Takes place in a cool little dive bar + tons of cool live music. i willll be visiting, if only to say that i played chicken shit bingo.
Yes- this is an elevator!! It’s in AquaDom in Berlin. It’s the largest cylindrical tank in the world containing tons of sea life including coral and fish!
This place is in Toyama Bay, Japan. These squid light up when they feel like they’re in danger to scare away predators. Too bad it is the opposite for us… we flock like birds to go see them b/c this is so freaking cool! There are lots of boat tours that take you out in the middle of the night to see them.
If you don’t want to do middle of the night, I highly reco the firefly squid museum!  It’s a Japan museum at its best- tiny little personified squid characters, highly interactive ( you can touch the squid and other sea creatures). The best part is that there’s a restaurant on top ….. where you can EAT the firefly squid! They serve them up in a variety of ways- raw, poached, boiled, fried, on pizza, in noodles…etc.

So we’ve all heard about swimming with sharks…. sharks that are not dangerous! Well, I’ve never heard of a NICE crocodile. In my book- this is more dangerous. Crocosaurus Cove Darwin is swimming with crocodiles in Australia. They’ll even feed them while you’re in there.. how nice of them. Hopefully, the hot dogs are enough for them!
This is Christmas Island in Australia! Over 50 million of these Christmas Island red crabs scuttle from one end of the island to the other for breeding. It makes for a …. RED CARPET! hahah sorry, terrible pun. mmm.. wonder if they taste good.

This is the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia. It’s called Roar and Snore…. yup, you get to sleep overnight in a ZOO! Too cool and fun. You’re in an awesome Safari tent right on the water and you can even have nighttime/ early morning animal tours when they’re most active!

Wow.. this hotel, Resorts World Sentosa-Equarius Hotel, is amazing. They have so many suites, but the most impressive is a room that’s looking into the huge aquarium! I’ve seen ones that are underwater in the ocean, but those don’t necessarily have a lot of sea life floatin’ by. It’s right next to Universal Studios- Singapore as well. Wow, can you imagine waking up to a huge stingray greeting you?
