well dayam! Maybe it’s like being in a frozen ocean? or a lava lamp? This tunnel is in West Antarctica. It doesn’t look it in the picture, but it’s actually as tall as the Eiffel Tower!
It’s not just beautiful, the tunnel will also be helping scientists predict how it will melt in response to global warming.

Cool! A Jade iceberg in Antarctica! Technically, all icebergs have a jade underside we just can’t see it because it’s still attached to the ice shelf. When they break off, it flips over and this jade color or “marine ice” is revealed. It’s made out of all the organic material that dissolves underwater! (ha, don’t think about that when you’re out swimming next time)
